Crazy Christmas Decoration

There is always that specific house in the neighborhood that is all decked out in lights and decorations, and when the holiday comes you can’t help but look forward to seeing it. Then there are the houses, which seemed to light up the entire block and blind you with their lights. Following are few crazy decorated houses on Christmas.

The Breathing Chair is a project by Tatung University Department of Industrial Design graduate, Yu-Ying Wu. She continued Taiwan’s tradition of design excellence, winning a red dot design award for her “breathing” chair. The unique chair is inspired by plant cells. When a person sits on it, the chair collapses into a familiar shape, but when at rest, it resembles a block of airy tofu. A curious. playful design that is a great conversation starter.Wu claims that its innovative design allows the chair to adjust to the user’s weight and posture. Wu said that the chair is made of high-density foam plastic that is 100 percent environmentally-friendly.



London-based designer Vladimir Rachev has created a range of cutlery called Soil, inspired by gardening tools. He reckons that soon we will be unable to associate our food with the earth. By creating cutlery inspired by gardening tools, designer wants to remind us of the origins of our food.

It’s hard to bleieve, but this is a table. The title is “Paint or Die But Love Me”. This amazing art concept of Bloody Table is by John Nouanesing.

Completely portable, the stainless steel Vidro fireplace table requires only gelled ethanol fuel to burn a smokeless flame in your home. This is completely portable. This require no chimney, vent or flue. They burn gelled ethanol fuel with 100% heat efficiency and do not create an “after fire” drain of heat up a chimney.

Knoop is Dutch for “knot”, but it’s also a new line of tables by designer Josh Urso. He combines his signature resin impregnation process with hundreds of feet of military-grade rope in this new design.

It’s a coffee table that has hundreds of LEDs in the top surface that respond to motion above the table. Interactive LED Coffee Table, which not only has the multiple pin-points of light that I so enjoy but makes them flock around your fingers as you wipe up spilt drinks.

This cocktail table, part of the Puzzle Collection is a great example of how puzzles interact with furniture and design in general. Produced by Patou Design, this seemingly ordinary table can twist and turn in order to fit your needs of space.

Very modern and cool, the Loto coffee table from Italian company Com.p.ar is a real space saver, ideal for compact city homes and urban lofts where spare room is hard to come by. It blends fashion and function, designed with a fixed or opening tabletop with storage concealed beneath that allows you to keep even the smallest spaces trim and tidy.

The “Stink Tree” coffee table by Dylan Gold is a beautifully crafted furnishing inspired by the silhouette of the Tree-of-heaven, also known as ailanthus, Chinese sumac, stinking shumac or simply, the “Stink Tree.

Although it’s a bit frightening, Franziska Dierschke’s gun shaped camera gives a whole new meaning to “point and shoot”. This creative and interesting gun shaped camera concept, takes small, pinhole-shaped images without the aid of a viewfinder. What a fun way to re-structure an old gadget that you wouldn’t believe would change. Unfortunately, Aimat gun camera is only a concept and is not for sale.

Creative ToothPaste Heads

Make brushing more fun for your kids and you, encourage them to put the cap back on the toothpaste tube when they’re done with these cool new Toothpaste Heads. These caps do exactly what it looks like: replace the existing cap that comes with the tube of toothpaste.  In turn you get a little puking animal.  I think the little dog barfing toothpaste is just plain cute.
