Crazy Junkyard

This crazy modern egg-shaped mobile office pod has a kitchen, a bathroom, interior lighting, and several storage places called ‘blob VB3′. Designed and built by Belgian architecture firm, dvmA for xfactoragencies. ‘blob VB3′, a mobile unit for the office of xfactoragencies as an extension to the ‘house’. It can easily transportable and can also be used as an office, guestroom or garden house. Polyester was the primarily material used in construction of the ‘blob VB3′. VB3 Blob can also be opened at the front of the door out. For one egg rumha this VB3 blob of land required for 20m2.

The Breathing Chair is a project by Tatung University Department of Industrial Design graduate, Yu-Ying Wu. She continued Taiwan’s tradition of design excellence, winning a red dot design award for her “breathing” chair. The unique chair is inspired by plant cells. When a person sits on it, the chair collapses into a familiar shape, but when at rest, it resembles a block of airy tofu. A curious. playful design that is a great conversation starter.Wu claims that its innovative design allows the chair to adjust to the user’s weight and posture. Wu said that the chair is made of high-density foam plastic that is 100 percent environmentally-friendly.

London-based designer Vladimir Rachev has created a range of cutlery called Soil, inspired by gardening tools. He reckons that soon we will be unable to associate our food with the earth. By creating cutlery inspired by gardening tools, designer wants to remind us of the origins of our food.

Designer Yael Kristal designed catering Fashion Victims, a vision of hip and trendy tableware. Mug stiletto heel, coffee cup or egg cup ringed corseted, these creations in white porcelain with gold accessories invite to our table the fashion trend.

This customized IKEA kitchen island was made using over 20,000 LEGO bricks. Philippe Simon and Pillard Rosetti are the designers behind the kitchen concept. They put  Lego pieces together to form an amazing kitchen island. Very cool, it certainly would be a fun place to have your morning coffee with all those Lego bricks, I bet it took the designers quite some time to put it together.

Artist and designer Olli Erkkila recently created this amazing bicycle called ‘Forkless’. he design this cycle for his graduation project at the Institute of Design in Lahti. He created this unique and interesting bicycle dubbed the Forkless Cruiser.

Philadelphia artist Ed Bing Lee has evolved into knitting for 25 years. Ed Bing Lee uses the usual macrame to create objects that look like food. The knitted food items include a burger, hotdog, cupcake with sprinkles, pumpkin pie, key lime pie, ice cream cone, chocolate cupcake, and other delectables.

The Spaghetti Lounge Chair and Ottoman from PIE, handmade of liana vine skin and rattan frame, this piece is a functional work of art.

The multi-functional piece serves as a trivet, a spaghetti measure, and a counter top decoration when not in use. The Noooodle is a chrome trivet with a twist. It quite literally is twisted; twisted in such away that it creates loops that measure 1,2, 3 or 4 potions of spaghetti.

Pablo Reinoso has created this bench being partly a normal bench and partly spaghetti. And the result is rather amazing.

Two pieces of bent polymer fused into closed loops are joined to a metal base to form the “Toeloop Chair.” Mario Stadelmann, a Swiss-born London-based designer, is the man behind the vision.

They may not be edible, but these noodle-inspired designer chairs certainly are artistically drool-worthy.

Urban Trend has designed a series of Gun Egg Fryers that help you cook your eggs in the shape of a gun. The Gun Egg Fryer definitely gets your day off to a violent start, featuring four different shapes of various guns to fry your eggs in. Now one can get rid of the ordinary round shape of eggs.

This flower inspired Bloom chair is designed by Kenneth Cobonpue. Bloom chair is spectacular, it really looks like a flower and still looks comfortable. It is created from microfiber stitched overtop resin with a steel base. The Bloom, one of Kenneth Cobonpue’s newest designs, has just won the Coup de Coeur (Best Product) presented by HOME Magazine at the Maison et Objet 2009.
