When we first saw these images of “mirror man“, we thought this to be a sculpture. But later we realized that this wasn’t just another sculpture. But instead he turned out to be a street performer who creates amazing living art in Los Angeles. Flickr user SiLver sKY spotted him near Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles and he was wearing a suit made of mirrors, from head to toe.

Your first reaction after seeing these transparent desktops would be that these are done using Photoshop! This is not as difficult as it looks. The technique used to create these illusions is very simple. What one has to do is to take a photo of the background & save it as the desktop image on your system. All you need to do is to position the monitor in such a way that it merges with the background.

Cutting Board Plus Bowl: An interesting concept by designer Kenneth; once you are done with the cutting, then you can make the board into a bowl for cleaning, serving or storage.
LCD Cutting Board: This board comes with a flexible LCD display and wireless connectivity that displays cooking instructions for you to prepare a perfect meal.
Chop & Rinse Cutting Board: A compact and clever design that combines several bulky items into a single sleek design. The hinged chopping board allows you to cut your vegetables, and later can be transformed into a triangular chute. It also acts as a colander as you wash your food and then can be transformed into a bowl after the washing process.
Corner Cutting Board: If you are among those who have limited space in the kitchen like us, then this is something which is sure to get your attention. It’s a space saver design with clips that fasten the oval cutting board to your counter giving your more space for food preparation.

Here we have the work of Jaime Jasso, a Digital Artist who at an early age liked drawing and painting. He practiced and learnt paintings using watercolors, oils, and airbrushing, and later moved from comic books to illustrations. It was in mid 90’s that he found a great interest in matte painting and conceptual art and started to practice computer graphics. Bringing the tropical rain-forest to the UK, Proctor and Matthews Architects has come up with a biodome called “Heart of Africa” that will replicate rain-forest habitats of the African Congo.
England’s weather is about as far from tropical as possible — except within the bubble of this amazing “Heart of Africa” biodome coming soon to Chester zoo. The 112-foot-high zoological attraction will simulate the rainforest habitats of the African Congo.
The biodome will cover 172,000 square feet and will be home to a number of animals, including a band of gorillas, a troop of chimpanzees, okapi ( giraffe-like creatures), birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish, and invertebrates. A water ride will show off animal enclosures, and a jungle canopy will flourish above visitors’ heads.
When it is opened in 2014, the biodome is expected to be Europe’s biggest conservation and animal attraction. We can only hope that the attraction inspires environmental action among visitors!
