Prickly pair chairs are unique design by valentina glez wohlers mexican born london based designer. The chairs juxtapose mexican and european aesthetics, incorporating the formal design elements and quirks of both to create a cultural blend. The Nopal cactus symbolizes Mexican heritage and national pride. The blend of these cultures is evident in this ‘matching’ pair of chairs.Valentina, who has been featured in numerous design magazines from Russia to Australia, will be showing her work this week at Designersblock London 2009.

This Cloud Chair is a very interesting piece of furniture . At a first glance you wouldn’t guess that this is actually a chair, it has a very strange shape. This Cloud Chair designed by Richard Hutten is made of polished aluminum and produced by Ormond Contemporary Editions.
